Summary:
This report presents a record of asphalt-rubber membrane field performance in Texas.  An evaluation of performance is
presented for forty-five separate projects in thirteen state highway districts.  Approximately 850 lane miles of highway
are represented by materials constructed as stress absorbing membranes (asphalt-rubber seal coats) and as stress
absorbing membrane interlayers (asphalt-rubber seal coats beneath asphalt concrete overlay).  All projects reviewed
were constructed between June, 1976 and September, 1981.
