Nebraska workshop attracts 76 attendees

Asphalt-Rubber Ambassador - Mark Belshe, P.E., FNF Construction, addresses the 76 attendees of the NDOR preconstruction workshop in Nebraska on September 21. Belshe, who also traveled to Tennessee with the FNF blending equipment crew, briefed NDOR personnel and local contractors on construction practices. NDOR Flexible Pavement Engineer - Laird Weishahn, P.E., discusses Nebraska’s experience with crumb rubber modified asphalt in the mandate era. He noted that the state had rushed with projects to meet the mandate and did not experience good
performance with some of the processes. “This time we’ve done our homework. We started our investigation after attending the RPA International Symposium in 1999.
