May workshops to
cover A-R costs, recycling
Asphalt-Rubber specifications,
live cycle costs, recycling, and case histories of A-R paving
projects will be included in two California Integrated Waste
Management Board (CIWMB).
The programs will be held
May 23 at the Monterey Beach Bay View Hotel and May 30 at the
Sheraton Hotel in Anaheim.
The workshops are being
funded through a $40,000 CIWMB grant to the Business Service
Bureau of California State University in Sacramento. The grants
are part of the board's scrap tire market development program
to help state and local government officials use scrap tires.

is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The company produces

NAPA Honors FNF
FNF Construction received
two awards during the recent conference of the National Asphalt
Paving Association.
The Arizona firm won top
honors for it's company brochure and was nominated for the prestigious
Sheldon G. Hayes Quality in Construction Paving Award.
The FNF project is a section
of I-40 near Kingman that has an asphalt-rubber seal. It was
chosen for it's pavement design, HMA manufacturing process, and
smoothness. The award will be granted after a year of usage.
