 Pacific Rubber Supply, LLC a wholly owned, California
based, subsidiary of Delta Fine Grind of Delta, British Columbia, Canada, was approved as a Producer member at the Annual Meeting in January. Delta Fine Grind produces crumb rubber for Pacific Rubber Supply. The majority

 RPA TOP Officers Picked for Second Terms
Quance and Takallou elected to Executive Committee

The 2001 slate of officers were reelected at the RPA Annual Meeting in
Dallas, Texas, January 29. The names and titles of the 2002 officers are listed
on the inside cover of this newsletter. All officers serve as members of
the Executive Committee. Other members of the Executive Committee
elected at the meeting are: Canadian based Jim Anderson, President of
Recovery Technologies, Inc.; Dr. Barry Takallou, President of CRM of
Compton, CA and C. Murray Quance, President of BAS Recycling of San
Bernadino, CA.

Anderson was first elected to the Executive Committee in July 2001.
Anderson has a background in economics and business. He received his
Masters degree in Business Administration from York University in 1971. He
has been with Recovery Technologies, Inc. since 1989 and is currently
responsible for crumb rubber sales and development in North American
and international "systems" sales.

C. Murray Quance, P.E., of BAS, served on the Executive Committee in
2000. Quance has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering and has a long
career history in automotive, industrial and consumer marketing in the
United States, Canada and Brazil prior to joining BAS over three years
ago. He is also President of Environmental Molding Concepts, a sister
company to BAS, which specializes in playground applications.

Barry Takallou, Ph.D., P.E. received his doctorate in Civil Engineering at
Oregon State University and has a long history dealing with Crumb
Rubber Modified Pavements. In addition to serving as an international
consulting expert on pavements, Dr. Takallou has also been involved in
the crumb rubber processing industry for many years. He founded his own
recycling plant, CRM in 1999.

RPA immediate Past President, Mark Belshe, P.E. of FNF Construction of
Tempe, AZ serves as an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee.

 The Rubber Pavements Association is a nonprofit organization committed to increased awareness and advancement of Asphalt-Rubber technology through seminars, research and publications. The association only supports proven paving processes which meet the ASTM definition D8-88 and standard specification D-6114-97 or public processes which are routinely
