Join us for the Mid-Atlantic Asphalt-Rubber Conference July 23 - 24, 2002, in Dover, Delaware. The two day conference will focus on scrap tire issues and programs and an in depth overview of the use of Asphalt-Rubber, the most successful paving process containing crumb rubber from recycled tires. In addition to a comprehensive look at scrap tire programs, grants and funding, presentations will be made on tire processing equipment, crumb rubber production and markets. On the paving technology side, the program includes a look at past and current research, applications and construction practices and state of the art equipment. Case studies will be presented by the nation's leading user agencies including DOTs from Arizona, Texas, California, Florida and Rhode Island.

The conference will be held at the Dover Downs Hotel and Conference Center which has a wide array of nearby leisure activities and historical sites. For registration information, visit the RPA website
